Go to the Assignments tool. From the navigation bar, choose Evaluation then select Assignment Dropbox.
For each assignment, choose Edit Folder from the action menu.
Click the Restrictions tab.
Change the dates as desired.
Save the changes. NOTE: Dates can be set by selecting all assignments and setting the dates using the bulk edit icon. Dates cannot be deleted with the bulk edit tool.

Quizzes
To change dates for Quizzes,
Go to Quizzes. From the navigation bar, choose Evaluation then select Quizzes.
For each quiz, click on Edit.
Click the Restrictions tab and set the dates.
Click on Display in Calendar.
Save the changes.

Discussions
To set dates for Discussions,
Go to the Discussions tool. From the navigation bar, choose Evaluation then select Discussions.
Forums are displayed with a black font; topics are displayed with a blue font. NOTE: Dates set in forums override dates set in topics.
Select Edit Forum or Edit Topic.
Click the Properties tab then select the dates.
Two types of dates can be set: Availability and/or Locking. Availability dates allow students to read and post to the discussion area. Locking dates allow students to read but does not allow them to post.
Check Display in Calendar.
Save the changes.

Checklist
NOTE: The easiest way to set checklist dates is to go to Content, click on the checklist link then set due dates for individual items from the list. Only due dates can be set from this view.
To set date in the Checklist,
Go to the Checklist tool. From the navigation bar, choose Course Tools then select Checklist.
Click on the name of a checklist and click on Edit.
Select all of the items in the checklist and click on Edit (two pencil icon).
Click on the due date checkbox and change the date and time as desired.
Save the changes.

Content, Grades, and News
Dates can also be set for releasing Content, Grades, and News. Please check your master course to determine whether dates have been set for these areas. For Content, click on Content and look for dates next to course file names. For Grades, click on Grades, Manage Grades, click a link and click the Restrictions tab. For News, look at news for an end date.
